Spoiler Alert

As ya'll know, this week is Lee's homecoming. As if last week's 9 week testing wasn't disruptive enough, THIS week we have total chaos! It is fun, though! Today was camo or pink day. I have no idea why we are given an option.
Tomorrow is celebrity or college day. SPOILER: I am dressing up as Sarah Palin. I have a dark wig, a power suit, some pumps, and rimless glasses. My Mom came over and helped me with my wig hair. What should have taken 5 minutes took ONE hour! I had flashbacks to when she learned to french braid on my hair. NOT a good memory. And no the Palin wig is not french braided. LOL
Even with my wig and props I look absolutely NOTHING like her, so I should get lots of laughs! LOL Why am I putting myself through such ridicule? Because it's FUN! Life is way too short to take yourself so seriously. If I can brighten someone's day by acting/looking like a total idiot, then game on. Er, I mean I am shaping young minds..come on! There will be pics posted on the blog (if I can figure it out). I am basically insuring that I can NEVER run for political office.
Bonus blog:
Our preacher talked a LOT about taking/receiving criticism. How to handle the Debbie Downer's and Negative Nellie's of the world. How to stand up for what you know is true and/or right. It was an awesome sermon. Then I get to school, and teach out of the Speech book on taking/receiving criticism. Weird. Totally helped me out. God often tries to tell me things, and for once I just might have gotten the message. Thanks!
