Continuing with My Wind Theme

This weather is weird. I mean weird. I should be used to it because it is Arkansas, but my sinuses are telling me I am NOT used to it. I wish it would get warm already and be summer. Not the summertime where a tornado is on every corner (like today), but the one where it's just hot. Of course, thanks to the groundhog, we have more winter ahead. As long as today doesn't get too bad, I am ok. I am keeping Blakely home from school today. This may sound silly to some, but LA isn't exactly a sound building. Usually, when Anthony will be around, I take her with me even if weather is bad because I know he can come get her. But today, he is going to Jonesboro so I just feel better with her at home with my mom. If a tornado ever gets in the path of Lee, that school is gone. It's like a house of cards. That's not disrespectful in any way, it's just a fact. There's nothing really that can be done about it. That's true of any place in a tornado's path, but a strong wind could knock down our school.

I am enjoying my last semester of school. I love that I have options for my life this summer and the fall. I am really going to miss my co-workers a LOT. And I am going to miss the kids. But Blakely will still be there in the fall so it's not like I won't see anybody. It's going to be hard letting go but this is the BEST decision for me at this time. You only get one chance in life, so you have to make the most of it.

Could my dog be any MORE disgusting?? He just wretched in the kitchen. I am pretty sure he will be cleaning it up in a few minutes. Why do dogs do that???? GROSS!

To my one blogger friend Jake: Knock 'em dead today!

Hope all have a wonderful, tornado-free day! Later........

UPDATE: I did not keep Blakely home. Danger seemed to pass so we are here! Do the weathermen ever get it right??????
