I am beyond excited to have a long weekend!!!! I am in such a need of one! Today my better half (way better!) turned big 41! He didn't even remember his bday! What the heck???? I would never forget my birthday! Of course he doesn't remember mine either! LOL We are living it up on Knight Street.....he fixed bacon and eggs. That's about it for the evening. He is watching tv and I am on the computer. The sad thing about it is that's just fine with us! Youth really is wasted on the young.
School really went by slowly this week. The kids were pretty good. Teen drama every day, but not MY drama. I can not make them understand that I am not in their peer group. It never ceases to amaze me that they seem to forget that I am in the room. I tune most of their talk out but occasionally I get a little more info than I needed to know. Refer to last paragraph...last sentence. I did let all my classes know that I would not be returning in the fall except for my homeroom babies. I think I saw a few high fives and cartwheels! LOL
I am taking a day off next week. I really am! It will be on Thursday. WOW.
Valentine's Day is tomorrow. I am sleeping in and then I am cleaning house. Anthony has to fly. Blakely is at Mom's. Can you feel the love?
I read on MSNBC tonight that a 12 year old boy in Britain became a father. Like this is news??? Come visit the Delta!
