It's been an interesting week

Let me just start by saying that I have not been feeling very creative this week, which is why I have not blogged. I have enjoyed my week (sort of) so this post may be a little weird. Here it goes:
Monday-I had a great President's Day! I loved being off work. I did not even get out of my pj's ALL day because I didn't want to AND I didn't have to! I watched the Law and Order Marathon and convinced myself that I should've been a defense attorney. Boy, have I wasted my life. LOL I would be soooooo good at defending the innocent until proven guilty bunch. What a shame.
Tuesday-back to school. It actually turned out to be a good day because my junior class was absent (except for 3) because they went to Memphis to order prom decorations and/or they played hooky. Either way it worked for me.
Wednesday/thursday-I went to work. Not much to talk about for those 8 hours but then I went to Tunica! ACV and I left around 4 and headed to the den of inequity. I had a free room at the Sheraton and a free buffet, so I was all over that! We did not win a dime but had a great time people watching. Let me just say there are some WEIRD peeps at the casinos. And I could not begin to tell you how many times we were almost ran over by old people with oxygen masks on a scooter! LOL And we saw the longest cig in the world hanging out of this old lady's mouth. I swear it was like 8 inches long. But I ended up feeling sick. I guess it was the buffet. who knows but we had the night from h***. I won't go into the details but let me just say they don't make hotels like they used to. We hightailed it out of there at 8am and ate at the Cracker Barrel where I mowed down AWESOME pancakes!!!! Yum-ola! I love me a pancake!
Friday-Well it was Friday so that was a good thing! My morning started out very odd. I am struggling with the whole WWJD in the situation I find myself in, but I realize I am NOT Jesus. I will do my best to forgive and forget, but honestly it's going to be very hard for me. I realize you may have no idea what I am babbling about, but the only thing I can share is that it has been ongoing for 2 weeks. I wish I was someone that people believed the best in and/or gave the benefit of the doubt , not automatically assume the worst of me. But alas, I am not one of those chosen few. I am a work in progress though so maybe I will get the hang of that WWJD theme.
Fast forward to last night, my betrothed and I were supposed to go to Benihana's but plans changed. We ended up at Don Jose's. What the heck! How do you go from Japanese to Mexican in one fell swoop I will never know! sucked.
Today is Saturday and I have to spend part of my time at Wally World. That's just peachy. I will try to post before the end of the week. Hope all who read have a restful weekend. later.....
